BSGAC MEMBERS ONLY
Cost: $27 per class
April 12 - Make 2 pairs of basic earrings
April 19 - Make an anklet or bracelet
April 26 - Make a dangle bracelet

Is "bling" your thing? Learn how to make your own jewelry! All beads and findings for the classes will be supplied as part of the cost. You will need to purchase a basic jewelry kit from Michaels to begin. Michaels sale flyer coupons available in the newspaper can be used to purchase the kits. Sign up in the Administration Office for all or individual classes.

FREE HEALTH FAIR AT THE BSGAC

Lecture at 10 a.m. at the Linkside Cafe
Topic: "An Overview of Heart Disease, Stroke and Diabetes"
Lecture Open to BSGAC Members Only
Following the lecture a free blood pressure screening will be offered on the lanai from 11 a.m. until Noon

No advance registration required for blood pressure screening

We are pleased to announce that the BSGAC will hold our 1st Health Fair on Monday, April 12th. If successful, this will be the 1st of a series of programs designed to educate our members about health issues which affect our population group. The program will begin at 10 a.m. with an educational presentation and question and answer session covering the topics "Heart Disease, Stroke and Diabetes". The presentation will be provided by heath educators courtesy of Edison College and Charlotte Regional Medical Center. There is no charge for this lecture, however we need to know how many to expect for the lecture as seating is limited. In order for us to anticipate how many people to expect, we are requesting that you pre-register at the Administration Office or call the Administration Office at 941-639-4151.
At 11 a.m. the Edison College nursing program will conduct a free blood pressure screening on the lanai. This screening is open to members and non -members alike.
Knowledge is power! We thank "ConfiCare Home Health Solutions" for volunteering their time and knowledge to help us put together this program. Sign up now to assure that these types of programs continue. If you have a particular interest in a health topic to be covered at future lectures please place that suggestion in the suggestion box in the lobby. We have been informed that there is a large pool of educators who are willing and able to provide us with information about most health topics.

NEXT SERIES OF YOGA CLASSES BEGINS MONDAY (Top) <>

4 WEEK SERIES APRIL 12, 19, 26 and May 3
6:30 - 7:30 PM
Cost: $40 for the series or $12 per class (if space allows)
1st preference given to those taking entire series
Class limited to 12 people

Our very popular Yoga series presented at the Linkside Café by "The Yoga Sanctuary" in Punta Gorda continues. In order for us to commit with The Yoga Sanctuary and contract for this class we must know in advance that we have enough people. If interested, please sign up by no later than Wednesday, April 7th. Those signing up for the entire series of 4 classes will be given preference. Register now for the series at the Administration Office.
If the classes are not filled by those taking the entire series by noon on March 6th, you may sign up individual classes at that time.
