Burnt Store Marina Country Club Welcomes New General Manager, Alyssa Eshleman
The Burnt Store Marina Country Club is pleased to announce the hiring of Alyssa Eshleman as the new General Manager of Country Club Operations.
Alyssa was selected from a strong field of applicants from across the United States following an extensive hiring process conducted by Troon Golf Management in partnership with the Section 22 Board of Directors. She emerged as the clear choice to lead the club into its next chapter.
Alyssa brings years of experience in country club operations, sales, and marketing. She joins us from the Maryland National Golf Club in Frederick, Maryland, where she served as General Manager and played a key role in the club’s growth and development. She also holds an MBA from Hood College.
Reflecting on her decision to join Burnt Store Marina, Alyssa shared:
“The people I’ve met so far are the ones who really made this feel like the right place for me—everyone from the board to the staff to the community have been welcoming, authentic, and truly passionate about what they’re building. It’s a team I can’t wait to work with.”
She added that she is excited to help the property reflect the energy and diversity of the community, and believes the club is ideally positioned to support a thriving golf environment—from seasoned players to newcomers and the rapidly growing youth golf movement. She also sees tremendous opportunity for continued growth at the Linkside Restaurant.
Section 22 President Jerry Newmin expressed the Board’s enthusiasm:
“We are excited to have a golf professional of Alyssa’s caliber leading our country club operations into the future and look to big things from her and her staff moving forward. Under her leadership we believe there is a very bright future for our golf club and the Linkside Restaurant.”
Alyssa will be starting by the end of February.

The Burnt Store Marina Country Club is owned by Burnt Store Isles, Section 22 HOA, and managed by Troon Golf of Scottsdale, Arizona, the world’s largest golf course management company. Since being purchased by Section 22 in 2020, the BSMCC has provided golf, dining, and a wide range of social events for members, guests, and the surrounding Lee and Charlotte County communities.
