This April, we look forward to introducing Brigido to the team, where his vast knowledge of the area, the industry, and the grasses will be quickly put to good use.
Brigido has an education in business management from Hobe Sound in addition to his completion of the Golf Course Turfgrass Management Program from The Penn State University. Beyond his schooling, he also brings with him vast experience at golf clubs, country clubs, & resorts from Virginia down to Puerto Rico, including a few in Fort Myers!
From Brigido, himself:
“I’m excited about the opportunity to join Burnt Store Marina Country Club and continue doing what I’m passionate about — keeping a golf course in top condition. I look forward to contributing my experience and dedication to getting the course back to outstanding shape for the membership and our guests.”
With 14+ years’ experience in management and training, accolades such as Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Manager Of The Year 2022, and time spent on a 5-man panel of assistant superintendents on how GCAA chapters can help assistants move up in the industry, Brigido’s expertise is sure to bring a depth of knowledge and expertise that we can surely use here in Burnt Store. We’re lucky to have him!
From Alyssa Eshleman, GM:
“I cannot wait to learn from and work beside Brigido, to bring this course back to its former glory and to ensure a property our members and community can be proud of. I think Brigido, specifically, is going to be such a tremendous addition to his team, since he also has so much skill in training others in his department. The team we’ve had in maintenance has been working hard, and it’s due time for them to have someone to help and to learn from. This is an exciting next step towards making Burnt Store Marina CC everything it could/would/should be!”
His arrival will synchronize with the new bulkhead project on Heron 3, so he’ll have his hands full right off the bat, but we hope the community will assist in making his transition a seamless one, filled with love and support for this new team member.
